What is the standard FSC-40-004 V3-0 ESP Chain of Custody Certification?
The Chain of Custody Certification guarantees that the path or way which take forest products such as recycled materials from the moment their retrieved, to the point where they are sold, have an FSC declaration or FSC label, if finished. The Chain of Custody Certification includes the stages of retrieval, processing, commerce and distribution in the case that following stages of the supply chain require a change or transformation of the product.
The certification FSC of management systems is oriented to guarantee in a reliable manner that the products sold with a FSC declaration coming from forests, are managed responsibly, are from controlled sources, and are made up of recuperated or recycled materials, or a combination of both.
