A process is a set of activities related with each other that use inputs to obtain an output. An example of a process is selling. Selling as a process which includes a series of activities: client prospecting, negotiating, estimating, etc. The input is the client. The output is the closed sale.
what is a procedure?
A procedure is a set of well defined actions/steps to follow in order to facilitate a task, assure the success of it, and obtain the same result no matter the user. In other words, a procedure has all the steps to follow, a methodology that facilitates the correct execution and assures the fulfilment of the requirements.
